Live Your Sports takes your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you use our website, place an order or get in touch with us, why we do so and what rights you have. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we process and why?
Orders and your account
When you place an order or create an account, we process your name, address, email address, phone number, order details and payment status. We use this data to process, ship and invoice your order and to keep you updated on its status. The legal basis is the performance of the contract and, for our records, our statutory retention obligation.
Contact and enquiry forms
If you fill in a form (contact, product enquiry, service, repair or test ride), we only use your name, email address, phone number and message to answer your question or schedule your appointment. The legal basis is your own request (steps taken before any agreement) and our legitimate interest in answering your question. We do not use this data for any other purpose.
Basket reminder
If you enter your email address at checkout but do not complete your order, we may send you one or a few reminders about your basket. This is stated next to the email field, and you can opt out there straight away. We do not keep this data longer than necessary.
Reviews
After an order, you may receive an invitation to write a review on Trustpilot. For this, we share your name, email address and order number with Trustpilot. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in collecting customer feedback. You can always ignore an invitation or ask us not to invite you again.

Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties we need to deliver our services, and where necessary we have made agreements with them on security and confidentiality:
- Buckaroo and the chosen payment service (such as iDEAL, PayPal, credit card or Bancontact): to process your payment.
- Sendcloud and the carrier (such as PostNL or DHL): to ship your parcel.
- Hostinger: hosting of our website and webshop.
- Strato: sending emails from the webshop.
- Trustpilot: review-uitnodigingen.
- Google: Google Analytics (only with your consent), Google Maps (map on the website) and reCAPTCHA (spam protection for forms).
Some of these parties may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies.
- Functionele cookies are needed to make the website work, for example for your basket, checkout, your language choice and remembering your cookie choice. No consent is required for these.
- Analytical cookies (Google Analytics) are used to see how the website is used, so we can improve it. We only place these if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Decline, Google Analytics is not loaded.
- Ingesloten inhoud such as Google Maps and YouTube videos may place cookies from those parties. We load YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode.
You can change your choice at any time: Change cookie settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
How long do we keep your data?
- Order and invoice data: 7 years, due to the statutory tax retention obligation.
- Your account: for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account.
- Messages via forms and email: for as long as needed to handle your question, and up to 2 years after that.
- Data from abandoned baskets: as briefly as possible; we delete it periodically.
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as a secure connection (https), restricted access and regular backups.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object, and have your data transferred. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@liveyoursports.nl; we will respond within one month.

Changes
We may update this privacy policy, for example if our services change. The most recent version is always on this page.
