Description

Reliable 12-Speed Performance for Every Trail

The SRAM NX Eagle Rear Derailleur delivers dependable shifting performance for riders looking to get the most out of their 12-speed Eagle drivetrain. Built around SRAM’s proven X-HORIZON™ design, it provides smooth, accurate gear changes while minimizing unwanted movement for consistent performance on every ride.

A large 14-tooth X-SYNC™ lower pulley improves chain management and supports cassettes with up to 50 teeth, ensuring efficient pedaling across a wide gear range. The integrated Type-3 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ reduces chain slap and derailleur movement, resulting in a quieter ride and improved drivetrain durability.

Designed specifically for SRAM’s 1x Eagle platform, the NX Eagle derailleur combines reliability, precision, and ease of maintenance, making it an excellent choice for trail, enduro, and all-mountain riding.

Technologies

X-SYNC™

SRAM’s X-SYNC™ technology features tall, square-shaped teeth that engage the chain earlier and more securely than traditional chainring designs. The narrow tooth profile and mud-clearing recesses improve chain retention, reduce wear, and maintain reliable performance even in muddy riding conditions.

Eagle™

Eagle™ is SRAM’s advanced 1x drivetrain platform, designed to be lighter, stronger, and easier to use than traditional multi-chainring systems. It offers a massive 520% gear range, delivering climbing capability comparable to many 2x drivetrains while keeping the simplicity of a single chainring.

Cage Lock™

The integrated Cage Lock™ mechanism makes wheel removal, installation, and chain maintenance much easier. Simply push the derailleur cage forward and lock it in place to create chain slack when needed.

ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™

The ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ minimizes chain slap and derailleur movement, providing quieter operation, improved chain retention, and more consistent shifting over rough terrain.

X-ACTUATION™

Developed specifically for SRAM 1x drivetrains, X-ACTUATION™ delivers precise and consistent shifting across the entire cassette, ensuring reliable gear changes under all riding conditions.

X-HORIZON™

The X-HORIZON™ rear derailleur design limits movement to the horizontal axis, eliminating ghost shifting while reducing shift effort. Its optimized pulley offset maintains a consistent chain gap across the cassette for faster and more accurate shifting.
