Description
The Hope Tech 3 V4 Disc Brake combines powerful braking performance with improved ergonomics, refined adjustability, and excellent heat management. Building on the proven Tech Evo design, Hope has improved the master cylinder integration, lever feel, and overall rider control while maintaining the reliability that Hope brakes are known for.
The Tech 3 master cylinder provides approximately 5% more power compared to the previous Tech Evo system and is compatible with all Hope brake calipers. Features such as Reach Adjustment and Bite Point Control (BPC) remain, allowing riders to fine-tune the brake feel to their personal preference.
The lever uses a cam and roller system to eliminate free play and reduce initial friction, resulting in a smooth and consistent brake feel. The split clamp design makes installation easier by allowing the brake lever to be mounted without removing existing cockpit components.
The Hope V4 caliper is CNC-machined from a solid block of 2014 T6 aircraft-grade aluminium. Its increased stiffness improves braking efficiency, while the larger pad surface improves heat management and extends pad life.
